Program Categories & Funding Benefits
Fulbright Foreign Student Program:

- Eligibility: Swiss nationals pursuing a Master’s, Ph.D., non-degree study, or Ph.D. research in the U.S.
- Funding Benefits:
- Grants are for 4 to 10 months (non-renewable)
- Covers tuition and academic costs
- Average grant value: $20,000 per academic year.
Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program:

- Eligibility: Swiss post-doctoral researchers, university faculty, and academic professionals
- Purpose: To conduct research, lecture, or a combination at U.S. academic institutions
- Funding Benefits:
- Grants up to 10 months
- Covers teaching, research, and academic-related costs.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a Swiss citizen (U.S. nationals must apply via the U.S. Fulbright Student Program)
- Must meet the academic requirements for the program selected
- Demonstrated academic excellence and motivation for cross-cultural exchange
- Proficiency in English language is must.
